Screen recording on an iPhone is straightforward once you enable the feature. Here’s how you can do it:
Step-by-Step Instructions to Screen Record on iPhone
1.
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Control Center.
- Tap on Customize Controls (or just "Control Center" on newer iOS versions).
- Scroll down to find Screen Recording and tap the green + button next to it. This will add the Screen Recording feature to your Control Center.
2.
- Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen (on iPhone X or newer) or swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen (on iPhone 8 or earlier) to access the Control Center.
- Tap the Screen Recording button, which looks like a solid circle inside a ring.
- A 3-second countdown will appear, and the recording will begin.
- While recording, the status bar or the time at the top of the screen will turn red.
3.
- To stop recording, open the Control Center again and tap the Screen Recording button, or tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and select Stop.
- The screen recording will be saved automatically to your Photos app.
4.
- To record with sound, press and hold the Screen Recording button in the Control Center before starting the recording.
- Tap the Microphone Audio button to turn it on (it will turn red).
- Start your recording, and it will capture both the screen and any audio from the microphone.
