How to clear cache?

Clearing the cache on your device or browser will improve performance and solve the problem. Here's a guide on how to clear cache on different platforms:​

1. On Web Browsers​

Google Chrome
Open Chrome and click the three dots in the top-right corner.
Go to More Tools > Clear Browsing Data.
Select a Time Range (e.g., Last hour, Last 7 days, All time).
Check Cached images and files (also check other options like cookies, if needed).
Click Clear data.
Safari (Mac)
Open Safari and navigate to the Safari menu
Select Preferences > Privacy
Click Manage Website Data, then click Remove All
Confirm by selecting Remove Now
Firefox
Click the three lines (menu icon) in the top-right corner
Select Settings > Privacy & Security
Scroll to Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data.
Check Cached Web Content and click Clear.

2. Mobile Devices​

Android
Open Settings.
Go to Apps or Apps & Notifications.
Tap the app for which you want to clear the cache.
Tap Storage > Clear Cache.
To clear browser cache:
Chrome: Open the app, tap the three dots > History > Clear Browsing Data > Cached images and files, then tap Clear data.
iPhone (iOS)
Safari:
Open Settings > Safari.
Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
Confirm by tapping Clear History and Data.
For Apps:

Access Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
Select the app and tap Offload App or Delete App, then reinstall.

3. On Windows​

Open Run dialog (Windows + R)
Type temp and tap Enter
Delete all files in the folder. Skip files that are in use
Repeat with %temp% and prefetch

4. On Mac​

Access Finder
Command + Shift + G to open the "Go to Folder" dialog.
Type ~/Library/Caches and press Enter.
Delete files in the cache folders (be very careful not to delete any critical system files).
5. Smart Devices (TVs or Consoles)
Tap Settings > Apps or Storage > Choose the app or system storage > Clear Cache.
TIPS
You may get logged out of websites or apps you were on while clearing the cache, so make sure to sign back in afterwards.
You may find it will free up a lot of space and even enhance performance.
