You have the option of using any of the following methods in order to verify the balance of your Provident Fund (PF):

Using the UAN (Universal Account Number) Portal, check the balance of your PF account.
Proceed to the official EPFO member portal, which is referred to as the EPFO Portal.
A second step is to select the "For Employees" tab that is located inside the "Our Services" section.
In the third step, navigate to the "Services" section and select the "Member Passbook" option.
Step 4: In order to log in, you will need to enter your Universal Account Number (UAN) and your password.
If you do not already possess a UAN, you have the option of obtaining one through the portal or through your company.
The fifth step is to click on "View Passbook" once you have successfully logged in to view the specifics of your PF balance.
2. Check the balance of your PF account via text message
It is the first step to make sure that your UAN is linked with your Aadhaar, PAN, and the details of your bank account.
Secondly, send a text message to the number 7738299899 using the following format:
You should copy the code EPFOHO UAN ENG and replace UAN with your Universal Account Number. Replace ENG with the language code (for example, ENG stands for English, HIN stands for Hindi, and so on).
In the third step, you will receive an SMS with the specifics of your PF balance.
3. Use the missed call feature to check the balance of your PF account
The first thing you need to do is make a missed call to 011-22901406 using the cell number that you registered.
A text message containing the specifics of your PF balance will be sent to you in the second step.
It is important to note that in order for this service to function, your UAN must be linked with Aadhaar and your KYC details must be updated.
4. Utilize the EPFO Mobile App to Check Your PF Balance
To begin, go to the Google Play Store (for Android) or the Apple App Store (for iOS) and download the latest version of the EPFO mobile app.
Open the application and log in with your UAN and password. This is the second step.
Step 3: Once you have successfully logged in, in order to view your PF balance, navigate to the "Passbook" area.
5. Ask your employer to check your PF balance.
In the event that you are unable to access your PF balance through the aforementioned means, you have the option of contacting the Human Resources or Accounts department of your workplace directly. In addition, they will be able to supply you with information regarding the PF balance.
Some Important Remarks:
UAN Registration: If you do not already own a UAN, you are required to obtain one from your employer on your behalf.
To ensure that you are in compliance with KYC regulations, check that your UAN is linked with your Aadhaar, PAN, and bank account. This will allow you to check your PF balance online.
In terms of timing, the missed call and SMS services normally provide balance details that are updated on a periodic basis; hence, it is possible that it does not provide real-time updates.
Utilizing any of these approaches will make it simple for you to check the balance of your PF account at any time.
