Through the use of Apple Intelligence, you are able to generate Genmoji on an iPhone or iPad.
Following on iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2, phenomenal things have realized their possible life in the usersiPhone and iPad, all directed and supported with Apple Intelligence. Here is Genmoji-for a whole new form of emoji that hailed with the promise of artificial intelligence, the use of which started in WWDC 2024.
Genmoji: What are they?
If you install the iOS 18.2 or iPad OS 18.2 upgrade, you will be able to produce genmoji, which are a kind of custom emoji. However, you may describe what kind of emoji you wish to have, for instance, a sad cowboy or an octopus DJ. Apple AI will work to do it for you. Those are the emojis created from your imagination but brought to the third dimension using Apple Intelligence. Also, if you have a picture of a person in your directory, you can make a personalized emoji from that person as well. After you are done creating Genmoji, they will be stored into your keyboard for use in all the-completely compatible Apple applications with emojis. It could be transmitted in the following ways: One, separate stickers, and the other, Tapback reactions attached to messages; it could do either.
Making a Genmoji: The Steps
To create a Genmoji, one will require a smart phone compatible with Apple Intelligence and running an operating system at least of the age of 18.2 years old or in its version number format as iOS 18.2 or later. This includes all iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max as well as iPad models with the M1 chip or later, and iPad mini (A17 Pro). Presently, the generating of Genmoji is possible on just the iPhone and iPad devices. However, Apple has confirmed that the feature will be available on the Mac device in future. The method is same on both the devices, namely an iPhone and an iPad when it comes to making a Genmoji.

The discussion will be started and the keyboard will subsequently be revealed by a tap on the text area. Next is the selection of either the globe icon or the smiley face icon depending on which one was selected before. You should now see a rainbow smiling icon with a plus sign on it at the upper right of the keyboard to indicate that you have finished performing the above action. Upon tapping that, a text box will pop up asking you for a description of the emoji you wish to create. Fill it and touch the "Done" button.
If you are creating a Genmoji for a specific person, you will first need to ensure that you have included them in your Photos app. Then enter your description and click on "Choose a Person" found above the text field. You will be shown several style options for a start as well as the person in your images that it has found. Then the Genmoji will be created using that character once you choose the one that strikes your fancy.

You may not get the desired output on your first attempt; however, you can keep trying tweaking your description until it brings out better results. Once you've created Genmoji, you'll find them on your keyboard. You can either swipe right to go through the entire collection of emojis or tap the sticker symbol to find them. You can even include them in Tapback by pressing and holding on a message, then following the smiling face icon with the plus sign to access the emoji keyboard.
Ways to erase Genmoji
You can always delete a Genmoji that you created if, later on, you realize that it does not appeal to you anymore. To do this, you will have to go back to the emoji keyboard and swipe right across every single page or just tap on the sticker symbol. Once you find the GenMoji you want to delete, look for it, press and hold it, and then tap on the Remove option that comes up as it appears.
